ABLE Program

Florida’s ABLE program lets Floridians with a qualifying disability open an account to keep their money, or money from family, to pay for qualified disability-related expenses. By keeping money in this account, it lets people have more assets and still be able to get other benefits from other programs where there are asset limits.

Most other states also have ABLE programs, and some even let residents from out of state open accounts.
